I had just got my canon 100 mm macro lens. I was looking for a subject that I had never been able to capture with other lenses, something small enough. I love shooting in available light, whether it is bright sunlight or the monsoon cloud filled light. The most vibrant colors that come to mind when you think of Kerala are red and green. I love the way the light streak as if to reach only the 2 bloomed ones and 1 bud. There are probably about 100 flowers in this bunch.
