One of my favorite national parks is Acadia NP in Bar Harbor , Maine. It is driving distance from our home in northern New Jersey. The park is not as grand as some of the more well known parks however it is still beautiful and small enough to cover in 2-3 days. The park , along Maine's coast , has many winding trails with beautiful views. I will always remember our visit there as my two boys with an 11 year age difference truly bonded and became best friendsd
