    Edit Photo Details Why do birds suddenly appear?   #birds #water #wildlife #flying #silhouette #oregon #adventure #lines #hoodriver #selfie
This is a self timed photo I took under a boat dock. The water level was about a quarter inch below the piece of wood I was standing on and there was a massive flock of birds just over the top of the dock being fed by someone behind me, so I took the opportunity to make the photo a bit more interesting. Taken in Hood River, Oregon in the Columbia River Gorge. (It should be noted that I absolutely hate being in water, so creeping on a thin piece of wood barely floating on a river made me nervous)
