I took this photo in Transfagarasan, Romania. This road was built by Nicolae Ceausescu, the communist leader of Romania. The road that holds the title of "Most beautiful road in the world", given by the TopGear team, was originally built as a safe way for the soldiers to march away from the russians. It's beauty can still be seen today, with hundreds of people visiting it everyday. I chose this picture to show how past and present merge together and form this amazing place for people to come to.
