Even on an unpleasant afternoon like this Milford Sound still manages to amaze. One of the wettest (and most beautiful) places on earth, during the 36 hours we were there, a meter of rain fell, and when this picture was taken the clouds were gathering above Mitre Peak ready to dump fresh rain. Within the hour the rain closed in and waterfalls gushed from every rock face. I used a 120 second exposure to accentuate the swirling nature of the clouds, combined with 0.9 soft ND grad filter.
