My boyfriend and I went hiking at the Great Sand Dunes National Park in southern Colorado. It is such a peculiar place. We felt we had been transported to Northern Africa. It was a particularly windy day and the sand was making it a very uncomfortable hike. I wanted to turn back but Taylor encouraged me to keep going and we finally made it to one of the upper ridges. The view was absolutely amazing. I hope this picture is proof that if you push yourself, memorable moments are a guarantee.
