The marbled shrimp (Saron spp.) are almost otherworldly! They are often ornate in both coloration and the appendages adorning their exoskeleton. Color patterns consist mainly of blotches, spots and marbling, which are usually earth-tone colors. However, some species also sport more brilliant colors, such as orange, red or green.
