    The scorching summer heat drives most of us to the water, wherever that may be. Here in Three Rivers, theven river is definitely a local pastime, and so is the Flume. Flumes are waterways that carry water to power plants, as well as, to irrigate local ag. They also happen to be a great way to cool off on the way back down the trail, from the river. This is an image of my niece and her friend floating down the Flume after a fun river day. Destination and journey wrapped into one๐Ÿ˜Š
