Ichneumon_Wasp_egglaying
This Ichneumon wasp was measuring5 cm(from tip of antennae to the tip of the ovipositor). About 3mm ahead of the tip of the abdomen there is a protuberance from which comes out another stick. One must be plunger and another must be hollow syringe-needle-like tube(which may also be used to sting. It was busy searching and depositing the eggs and did not trouble me neither it was disturbed by me.
