Edit Photo Details A Northern water snake eats a toad for b   #northern_water_snake
On a early morning walk at Chaffey's Lock, Ontario, Canada I came upon a Northern water snake as it caught this toad from behind. I watched and took pictures for almost an hour as the snake worked on swallowing the toad. After 50 minutes, it still was not done, but I decided to leave and let the snake eat, undisturbed.
