The waterfall San Rafael is an impressive natural landmark, when you visit Ecuador. It is a wonderful place to worship the forces of nature. Unfortunately the government of Ecuador decided to build a water power plant upstream. Therefore it is uncertain for which time this natural wonder will be conserved as one of the most powerful waterfalls I visited so far.
