A closed loop on a trail as seen from the sky when I recently flew over the East Bay area of Concord and Orinda in Northern California. The landscape down there is dramatic on its own, but with the golden sunset adding the critical mix of light and shadows, there was an altogether ethereal enhancement to the landscape!
