The Violet-crowned Woodnymph is a medium-sized hummingbird found in wet lowlands and foothills from Guatemala and Belize to northern Colombia and western Venezuela. The adult male is about 4 inches (10 cm) long and weighs 4.5 g. The female is about 3.5 inches (8.5 cm) long and weighs 3.5 g. I took this photo in Honduras in 2015.
