Whatcha Doing, Mate?
This is a photo of a Red Squirrel, but could possibly be a Douglas Squirrel. Both species are common in the NW United States. This wee squirrel was very curious of me as I was chopping fire wood. One can always detect their presence by the pine cone debris at the foot of a conifer. Also their chatter is very distinctive.
