Military Life During The Powwow Festival
The Powwow is a social gathering held by many different Native American Communities. The mission is keep the cultural tradition alive by holding annual Powwows. The event inlcuded in the celebration are Native American dance competitions for contestants of all ages, bird singing, drum contest and peon games.
Over the generations the Cabazon Band sustain their most honored cultural values: bound by the land as its custodians, they have a rich tradiiton on unity, leadership and generosity.
