Whaleshark Dream
This young Indonesian man is enjoying a moment that most only dream about with a whaleshark in Cendrawasih Bay, Indonesia. It was a surreal moment to watch him connect and swim with the biggest fish in the ocean.
What a fun moment to capture, love the interaction between the two subjects in the narrative! So many incredible whale shark captures submitted, yet yours stands out just on account of its humor and vulnerability. It speaks to our need to connect no matter the cost, even if it involves swimming at depth on a backstroke.
