Galapagos violin crab is an endemic species, which only exist in the mangrove environment of this archipelago. They form small holes over the soil that has developed over the lava flows. This cute animal, as well as most of the unique biodiversity of the islands depends highly on mangroves, which is why is in danger of extinction.
