On a boat to trip to Sette Cama we witnessed a small group of elephants swimming across the river. We kept our distance but one of the adult female elephants wanted to make sure we weren't going to get any closer to the other female with a baby so as they disappeared into the mangroves she stood guard, ears flared and smacking and spraying the water with her trunk.
