    To become an Air Force Special Tactics Airmen, no less than two years of training is required--leading to a 90% washout rate.Ben Joplin, a special operations weatherman from the Special Tactics Training Squadron, reemerges from the water during training at Hurlburt Field, Fla. Upon completion of the STTS, Airmen will go to special tactics squadrons, where soon they'll be attached to Special Operations Forces who can operate in any environment.
