I was walking through a park in New York City when I came into an opening, lined with tall stone slabs; approaching one, I saw that it was etched with thousands of names, and then I realized that I had walked right into a war memorial. It was eerily silent in there compared to the hustle and bustle of the city life around it, but all in good reverence and respect.
