    Edit Photo Details South-Indian Iyer Weddings   #india #weddings #intercaste
Although age old stories have that inter-caste/ religion marriages aren't appreciated by most traditional Hindu families, there are a few, which celebrate the event honourably. And my joy knew no bounds when I got this opportunity to shoot the event when two religions embraced each other's culture, with pride. It was the occasion of my cousin's wedding. She is a south-Indian iyer girl who is happily married to a gem of a Christian man, who hails from Assam, a north-eastern state.
