While we were walking through the Chaisa Slum of Lusaka Zambia, I noticed an older woman sitting in front of her house talking with some of her family. After introducing myself, we engaged in some very small talk in basic English. Before I left I asked if I could photograph her. She agreed and I took one photo. I then whispered "Seykalala", which is "Smile" in Nyanja. She was so surprised that her face instantly lit up.
