Fantastic Apples
This little tree has so many apples on the branches that most of them are hanging downward. This branch hasn't as much weight on it, so isn't sagging quite as much. One apple had fallen on the ground and nothing had bitten it yet, so I picked it up, wiped it off and ate it. It was perfectly sweet and flavorful as usual. These are a soft apple, similar to but more flavorful than a Mackintosh, that make amazing apple crisp and great applesauce. The deer already have a trail made to the tree. :)
