Treasure Hunters
Growing up in the country, one of my favorite things to do was to find and collect "treasures": a cool rock, a feather, a seed pod that looked like a face, a nest, a brightly colored leaf, or anything that piqued my curiosity. I took my city-slicker kids on a treasure hunt this weekend to relive that joy with them. I loved seeing them feel the same happiness I did as well as what kinds of things they found interesting enough to collect.
