    Sitting in my yard, I noticed a common toad bounding from my garden. On closer inspection I observed his reason for flight, attached to him was a Butler's Gartersnake. I bolted for the house to retrieve my camera. For half an hour I took pictures from every angle. I was right about the snake had bitten off more than he could swallow. The toad lived to fight another day!
