It amazes me how the cycle of life goes on everywhere, even in the cold on top of a 14,000 foot peak in the mountains of Colorado, where cold dominates through a large portion of the year. This yellow bellied marmot mother does what she needs to, in order to raise her little ones. I feel very lucky to be able to witness scenes like this. Photography has given me the gift of looking more closely at life around me.
