In Coyoacán, Mexico City lies La Casa Azul; home of the late Frida Kahlo. When she was 18 she began to paint after she spent 3 months recovering from a horrific traffic accident. Frida has inspired and continues to inspire people, especially people of the Mexican culture, to view the world in a new and critical point of view. Frida's paintings capture the best known aspects of herself: Feminist, Communist, Lover, Revolutionist, Inspirer, Culturalist.
