Located within the city limits of Homer, AK is the Beluga Wetlands Complex. Established in 1996, it provides important habitat for over a hundred species of birds and provides critical winter habitat for the local moose population. After several visits to several viewing platforms we finally saw this handsome bull Moose. I think this will be one of my favorite photos from the trip.
