Pokemon Go players at Piedmont Park in Atlanta. This was a "hotspot" for players wanting to play the game. When I walked up. there was barely any talking and the silence was eerie. Everyone had their heads in their phones. Couples were holding hands while playing in their other hands. It was surreal. When I snapped this photo on my film camera, the shutter was audible above the murmurs and sporadic "gotcha!"s. I feel like this photo encapsulates the cultural phenomenon pretty accurately.
