This was my first time going up to Mauna Kea in 2014. Above the clouds with a beautiful blue sky, I couldn't have asked for a better day to shoot. I hadn't seen snow for seven years, and I had been dreaming of visiting the summit since I was eight years old, and this picture captures all the magic I felt standing on top of the world when I was thirteen years old.
