once a year in Knoxville, Tennessee, there's a place that the Tennessee Wildlife Management Association plants rolling hills of sunflowers and, they do it just for the birds. that's incredible to me. i love living where so many people are so aware that humans aren't the only creatures on this planet that matter. these are located alongside the French Broad River just before it empties into the Tennessee River. it's a great place to kayak too..lots of wildlife. this scene is typical around there.
