I was driving through a rural area in BC, when I spotted this Great Gray Owl sitting on a fence, soaking up the sun. I pulled over farther ahead, to not disturb him and hiked back with my camera. I took several shots of him from across the street while he preened and observed the rustling in the grass below him.
