This old woman is wearing "Thandatti" (Special type of ear rings or pendants which pulls down the ear lobes when wore years together). This ornaments are usually worn by southern districts of India(Tamil Nadu) and weighed about 20-50 grams each. She is cleaning the rice and looking self reliant.I took long time to take this shot because I enjoyed the scene first.
