This is Brian Bress's sculpture "The Mushroom", exhibited at OCMA, Orange County Museum of Art. There's no explanation about the meaning, but I see it as the definition of a head through its hair, which takes a lot of importance compared to the flatness of the face. Even the "eyes" are melancholic, while the hair, though messy, is still vibrant. There's energy left in this sad "person".....This is a shot of a film, I posted the sculpture before.
