Flowers were still in bloom during November. These flowers are part of an organic garden that provides produce to a homeless shelter. I am part of a team that visits on saturdays, when possible, to sew and reap the vegetables. They range from cauliflower and broccoli to kale and eggplant. Residents at the shelter cook the produce and and serve them as meals to residents and non residents that dine at the shelter. The flowers are used as table center pieces.
