    Reported by:

In recent years Masai Mara Kenya has had extreme flooding sweeping tented camps that have been positioned for the last 15 years. in the same years it has had unusually dry weather spells, such as this dust storm in which the annual wildebeest migration rely on the lush grasses from Mara plains.

    Story 1

I like that the photographer chose to focus on one wildebeest rather than the herd. It adds to the feeling of helplessness and insecurity that these extreme weather patterns have brought to this area of the world. A silhouetted beast set against an eerie, but beautiful light caused by the dust storm.
