The spectacular setting of the Bregenzer Festspiele hosts annual opera on the lake every summer at the borders of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This new stage suspended on the waters of the Lake Konstanz is for Puccini's Turandot. When the show starts at 9PM, it is just the sunset moment when the crimson horizon overlaps with the landmark lights coming up in faraway Lindau on the other shore. Lucky of me to get this vantage point.
