Walking by a midden deposit in Big Bend I looked up and saw the amazing sky. So I put my camera on the ground facing completely up and walked away from it. The rocks were lit with my flashlight for the 30 second exposure. The end result is an image of rocks that appear as the ground instead of the edge of a cliff. I get the sensation that it was taken while walking on a new world exploring new territory.
