On August 25, 2016 the National Park Service celebrated 100 years and the Grand Canyon and mother nature put on a spectacular display with storms off and on all day. Toward the end of the day as we pulled up to Desert View Point a rainbow appeared and I immediately hoped to make it out to the edge in time to catch this shot. I wanted the canyon, river, watchtower and rainbow all in. I had about 2 minutes to catch the shot with the right light and it was enough.
