The Cook Shack
The Cook Shack is essential for daily nutrition for the Oceti Sakowin Camp (Ochetee shakowin: Seven Fires; Lakota). This camp is located on the northern boundaries of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, feeding up to 400 people each meal. A calling has been made to stop a proposed oil pipeline that will cross under the Missouri River just north of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and thousands of people have journeyed to this site to show support from throughout the world.
