Trying to get this bridge before the sunset from Lake Tahoe but it's too lake because of traffic. This shot is just after the sunset over Donner Lake. Rainbow Bridge is the famous structure on Donner Summit and so a suitable icon for the historical society. You can see it at the top of this page of course, but it’s also been used in commercials; been the subject of countless photographs by tourists and commercial and art photographers; and it’s been used as a prop in movies like True Lies.
