I almost every night look out the window in search of something to photograph as the sun sets behind the trees. On the Eve of the 12th, I noticed the clouds in a unique formation. I grabbed my camera and headed out to the nearest open land. My thoughts as I photographed the sky, "The clouds burst out from below like some kind of explosion. Fire and smoke erupts into the sky..." I wish I could have seen the rest of the cloud beyond the trees.
