ROSY TAKE XI
This gorgeous Great White Pelican - Pelecanus erythrorhynchos, having the time of is life after a torrential shower, was photographed in Singapore... not Colombia, which is still on my bucketlist of countries to visit. But.... the Northern american ones winter as far as south to Panama. Stray birds, blown off course by hurricanes, have been seen on Colombian territory since 1997 where they might have been swept by Hurricane Marco. This gorgeous creature has the second largest wingspan on earth.
