There are lights in the tunnel, but sometimes there are shadows as well. For me, this photograph depicts fighting your own personal battles and quests, facing your fears and coming on top, despite the obstacles in the way, as well as treating people around you with the respect and dignity that you expect from them. No matter how dark and tight the place you are into is. While always keeping your eyes wide open for the beauty surrounding you.

I love Your Shot photographer Sukanya De’s comment: “I love the surreal drama in the overpowering shadow growing larger than life, almost challenging the real entity!! My eyes are lead from the almost menacing shadow through the weathered textures of the wall to the silhouetted lone figure of the girl. An inspiring message towards fighting our inner demons and winning over the opposite energies in life!!”
