Taken during a long overdue visit to Mount Rainier last week. It was so beautiful there I did not want to leave. This was quite a challenge for me as I've not done much hiking for awhile. This is Bench Lake at Mt. Rainier - what I found to be an even better view than Reflection Lake. I had to slide down the last bit of the trail that went down to the lake on my fanny, but it was more than worth it! So much for a "moderate" rated hike! Perfect timing too as there was no wind to ripple the water.
