    Yosemite's Wawona tunnel. At 1,290m long and bored through solid granite bedrock, it's the longest highway tunnel in California. The lower end leads out to the view of El Capitan, that Mac users would be familiar with. This photo was taken around 5am when the lack of cars made it safe to setup a tripod in the middle of the road. One Nissan Di700A off camera flash was used to light up the reflective sings on the entrance.
