    A priest worships Mother Durga during the Durga Festival of 2015 in Kolkata. This festival celebrates the victory of good over evil. When all the Gods couldn't defeat the Demon King Mahishasur (he was invincible agaisnt any male form due to a boon from Lord Brahma), they asked Goddess Durga to defeat him and end the tyrannical rule of Mahishasur. This victory of Good over Evil is clebrated with much fanfare every year, mainly in the city of Kolkata
