    Having seen images of melting ice caps/glaciers, I have also been witness locally to several floods in my area. I've seen what mother nature can do, and it's devastating aftermaths to the terrain, structures, and people. Even a seemingly insignificant drop of water from an icicle due to a slight rise in temperature, can alter the course of nature. They look pretty, but can lead to damage in and around your home, or even injury if not taken care of. Photo taken on 2/14/14.
