While driving through the Dutch countryside, I passed through this village called Blokzijl. It is quaint and pristine in everyway. In many of the old towns, the people here have a paved driveway for their cars, and a "water" driveway for their boats. This photo was taken in early evening just after a pouring rain. Though small in size, the Netherlands is filled with picturesque landscapes, seascapes and antiquity.
