The season of color has finally arrived in far northern Vermont after choosing to start the show about 2 weeks later than usual. A dry summer has stressed the trees (parched) but the additional recipe ingredients for maple leaf color (duration of light and temps, and shut down of chlorophyll manufacturing--this manufacturing keeps the leaves green) are doing their best to push the show through every Act.It is a hoot to live in the middle of the Play (balcony seat on the ridge) after big city.
